The trial is the full product: the same build a working architectural practice ran on its live projects through beta. Install it beside Revit, open a live project, and time the three tasks you already know hurt. No Dynamo, no Python, no prompting — every workflow here is a group, sort, filter, fill-down or find-and-replace and faster than coding or prompting AI. It is as much at home on a forty-sheet house with one seat as on a workshared central.

- Autodesk Revit 2024, 2025, 2026 or 2027
- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
- Nothing to install first: the desktop app ships self-contained (.NET 8 is included), and the Revit add-in runs on the runtime Revit already provides
- No internet connection needed to run; the licence checks in periodically and tolerates 14 days offline
- Close Revit.
- Run the MSI. The default is a per-machine install; a per-user install is offered for machines without administrator rights.
- Start Revit. IQ Tools appears on the ribbon under IQTools.
- Open a model and press IQData on the Main panel. The grid fills from the local cache.
Windows Settings → Apps → IQ Tools → Uninstall. The add-in, the ribbon entry and the per-project caches are removed. Nothing is left in your models: IQ Tools writes only what you approved in a Sync Review, and that is ordinary Revit data.

Thirty minutes to learn the grid. Thirty to time three tasks.
Beta teams ran every core grid feature unsupervised after one 30-minute session. Spend the second half on the study's own recommendation: do these three tasks in Revit first, then in IQ Tools, on the same model.
- A parameter audit. Find every element in one category where a parameter is blank. Fix them.
- A sheet metadata pass. Set drawn-by and checked-by across a set of sheets.
- One bulk edit. Change one parameter on fifty elements. Notice how long Revit is unavailable each way.
